The good, the bad and the mediocre
So called public enquiries
In life there is no greater contrast than in politics, the current debate on ‘Alcohol abuse’ clearly demonstrates the gulf between labour and the tories.
The labour party sticks to their 12 year old philosophy that everything has to be banned made finable or carries a custodial sentence. They are also using the debate to help sell a few more ID cards to young people so they can prove they are old enough to get tanked up.
The conservatives being in opposition can take a more thoughtful look and come up with ideas that do not punish everyone, especially the innocent. There are no innocent to new labour, all must be punished even their own happy voters.
Liberals are as ever lost in a world of their own, with a ‘one strike and you’re out’ policy. Echos of stupidity that does not deal with with anything except the tip of the iceberg. Surely the liberals have someone with the brains and courage to look at the reasons rather than the ‘headline results’. Just as Labour have been wallowing in for the past 12 years. Newspapers are not interested in reasons, newspapers want problem headlines figures. New labour have ignored reasons for so long it is policy as they are so disconnected from normal human life.

The old alcohol abuse bought to life
So the UK moves towards the crunch time, reward New Labour for 12 years of Hard labour to each and everyone of us, or go for the obvious natural swing vote, or gamble our vote on the Liberals. Or even an anti vote against the establishment . The Liberals can longer be seen as the anti vote.
Fortune has favoured Brown with the apparent attempt to blow up an aero plane, ID cards totally worthless for terrorist threats or stopping crime and full body scanners at airports and the war will give some measure of ammunition for Brown for the ignorant voters to continue with these fear makers. Create, build and manufacturer fear and you have a weak soppy voter, New Labour have used the tactic for years. It works, but for how much longer, sure the current voter is getting thicker being fed manure old day by newspapers and various media but one day.... One day they might just start to think on their own.

Stormy waters smooth for Brown
Gordon Browns vow to stay on until he has sorted out the economy and the Mps expenses suggest that he will have a job for life as he has clearly failed the people on both counts. However he does have a fan in the previous Dr Who, Tennent though seems to think Brown is clever, something the Labour party have been suggesting for some time, interestingly he has little bad to say about Cameron other than he looks good in a suite, and so presumably Brown does not. Haven’t we heard the Labour suggesting Cameron only looks good. It is quite amazing how labour supporters only spout what they have been told by the Labour party.
Was the 2 Mp coup to change the Prime Minister a con job to ‘solidarity’ amongst the Labour party. It certainly appears to have been two day wonder, with no planning, follow up or nominations. With the forthcoming election would someone want to be PM for a few months if Labour lost.
If Labour do not win then Brown will be looking for a new job quite soon and the hopefuls, (these hopefuls are the ones who deny they are and say they are right behind Brown) will want to delay entry until after the election. Not that their are any who are popular after 12 years of labour.
